The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has arrested a suspect linked to the brutal murder of the Human Resources Manager of Wells Fargo Willis Onyango Ayieko.

The suspect, Victor Ouma Okoth, was arrested on Monday, October 28, at his hideout in Dandora Phase IV, Nairobiwhere it is owed “he rented a residence using the proceeds of crime”.
The arrest was made possible by a coordinated investigation involving the Homicide Unit, CRIB and Operations DCI.
“The suspect (who is being held at the Muthaiga Police Station) was located at the scene of the crime through forensic investigation, in an investigation led by a joint team of DCI, CRIB and Operation Homicide detectives,” DCI said.
Forensic investigations placed Okoth at the scene, leading to his detention at the Muthaiga Police Station. Authorities are continuing to investigate, following up on additional leads and working to identify and arrest other suspects who may be involved in the crime.
How did Willis Ayieko die?
The body of the late Wells Fargo was found face down, with his hands tied behind his back in a swamp in Sabatia.
His family expressed concern about the manner of his death as his eyes, ears, mouth and nose were missing.
They asked Kenyans to pray for them since they lost another brother in September 2024.
