Why did Rigathi Gachagua have to come to DCI?

Gachagua, who spoke after being released from hospital, allegedly survived two assassination attempts: one in the city Poisonous and code security officers, and another in Nyeri through food poisoning by officers of the National Intelligence Service.

How did Gachagua ignore the call of the DCI?

However, instead of attending the DCI session, Gachagua chose to appear at the Milimani Court, where his dismissal case was ongoing.

He spent a lot of time in court, closely following the proceedings as his legal team argued before a three-judge panel in a bid to retain his position as second-in-command.

Meanwhile, security was beefed up at the DCI headquarters, with police officers and two water tanks on standby in case of any disturbances following the expected visit to Gachagua.
