Kenyans Wachemka After Sudi Advised Gachuga To Seek God's Kingdom After Being Deposed

On Sunday, October 20, the ousted vice president Rigathi Gachagua addressed Kenyans regarding a sudden illness that led to his hospitalization.

Gachagua was removed from office on Thursday, 17 October, after the 56th senator found him guilty of five of the 11 charges filed against him by Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse.

After his arrest and release from the hospital, Gachagua said he still considers himself the deputy president, referring to the order from the judges in the Court of Kirinyaga and the Mountains.

Responding to his speech, the Member of Parliament for Kapseret Oscar Sudiwho is a strong supporter of Gachagua's removal, gave him religious advice asking him to seek the kingdom of God after he lost his position as deputy president by being fired.

“When you are rejected by the kingdom of earth, seek the kingdom of heaven because it is free,” advised Sudi.

Some Kenyans criticized Sudi's statements, especially in light of Gachagua's emotional speech, where he attributed his problems to the President William Ruto.

How did Kenyans respond to Sudi's statements?

Abel Leo Mosiah said:

“Don't think you'll live on the right side forever, power is short-lived!”

Anderson Werunga advised:

“Don't be too proud, Lord. Your fall will be with a crash. When you're at the top, it's best to walk humbly.”

Maina Wachira said:

“Leadership is short-term, I have faith. In God we believe. Our God will compensate us. Pastor Dorcas' tears do not go in vain. HE Riggy to the end. Political deception should end, we only fear God.”

Henry Korir advised:

“Don't bring the kingdom of God into the dirt, brother… The kingdom of God is no joke; just fight your worldly politics and leave the things of God alone.

General Aka Caicedo Himself said:

“Only a fool pretends to say the kingdom of heaven is for nothing… you should work hard for that kingdom while you are still here.”

Kiprotich Korir replied:

“This Kenya not yours sir.”

Inyen Joyce said:

“We give you one week, you will come crying…”

When will Kithure Kindiki be sworn in?

The MP emphasized that the deputy presidential candidate, CS Kithure Kindiki, will be sworn in on Tuesday, October 22.

Sudi claimed that the appointment of Kindiki will be able to change the political landscape of the country.

According to him, if Gachagua was allowed to continue in office, his alleged ethnic remarks could lead to civil war.
