Nairobi – Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni has endorsed Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka for the 2027 presidential election.

Kioni said that under the Gema voter camp, Mt Kenya region will support Kalonzo to oust the President William Ruto in the 2027 election.
Why Mount Kenya will support Kalonzo 2027
The former Member of Parliament for Kieni revealed that there have been silent but intense consultations between leaders in the Gikuyu communities, Embu and Meru to express their views with the Wakamba community, a broad political coalition that puts Kalonzo at the helm of the country's leadership.
According to the Jubilee Party SG, the former vice president has proven to be a reliable friend of the Mount Kenya region due to his historical ties, including saving the administration of the late president Mwai Kibaki.
“When the leader of the ODM party Raila Odinga when he teamed up with Ruto in 2007 to oust President Mwai Kibaki, it was Kalonzo Musyoka who stood by Mt Kenya and Kibaki's presidency,” Kioni said as reported by Taifa.
Kioni argued that the former prime minister has joined with President Ruto to persecute leaders from the mountain, despite the great support he received from the area, and it is Kalonzo who is standing with them.
“It is these and many other reasons that we feel that this country deserves a leader who is calm and able to promote true national unity and reconciliation that we are rooting for your son Musyoka,” Kioni added.

As previously reported, the leader of the Wiper Democratic Movement emphasized that his ambition for the presidency in 2027 was firm.
When he welcomed Tharaka Nithi's political delegation in Mwingi town, Kalonzo expressed confidence in defeating President William Ruto in the 2027 presidential race.
The former vice president said Ruto will break the record of becoming a one-term president, likening his defeat to former president Uhuru Kenyatta in the 2002 election.
