Former vice president Rigathi Gachagua he has been released from the hospital after experiencing severe chest pain during his impeachment trial.
He was dismissed after 56 senators found him guilty of five charges filed by the Kibwezi Member of Parliament West Many insult him.

What did Gachagua say about his sudden illness?
Although he admits to still feeling weak, he believes that he can cope with the discomfort at home.
Gachagua claims that President William Ruto intended to harm him due to the state of his illness and the treatment he received from the government while in hospital.
He mentioned two instances in which he survived two assassination attempts allegedly made by government officials.
He also explained that his condition could have endangered his life if he was delayed in seeking treatment for even 20 minutes.
