Nairobi – Lawyer Tom Macharia tried to use President William Ruto's remarks to defend the Deputy President Rigathi Gachaguawho is facing an impeachment trial.

Macharia is one of the strongest lawyers on Gachagua's legal team in the case.
While building the defense of the vice president on the evening of Wednesday, October 16, the lawyer played a video clip where the president referred to the electorate of Mount Kenya as the biggest owners of the current government.
Macharia tried to justify Gachagua's remarks that the government is like a stock company, and only those who elected it deserve fillets.
But addressing the upper house, senator-elect Beth Syengo wanted to know the importance of the remarks of Ruto in the sessions of the case.
