Meet The Trans Nzoia Chief Who Is Trending On The Internet For Creating A Popular Saying Misheveve

Although people love the funny chief, many don't know his name and just call him Misheveve Chief or Misheveve.

How did the name Misheveve come about?

The name came when Wechuli was talking to the media about a young man who killed his father after a fight over food in the compound.

In his narration, Wechuli said: “(The young man) asked his mother what vegetables she cooked and she said she had cooked Misheveve (pumpkin vegetables). The young man said he didn't want that, he wanted a salad and then he started beating his mother.”

“Her husband heard the noise and came to save his wife. The young man started biting his father's fingers like omena … we did not know that he was taking his father's life (killing his father),” he said jokingly.

One of Wechuli's best qualities is that he is funny and often has regular forums with his community members.

In one session, he spoke about a local teacher who kept going back and forth after an argument with his wife, and the audience couldn't stop laughing.

Simon Ingotse from Saboti told TUKO.co that the chief turns every meeting into a comedy show!

“He is Protus Wechuli Sifuna and not Simon Wechuli as some people have been saying. His shocks keep Saboti entertained and our spirits are high. A true story!” He said.

In another heartwarming video, Wechuli welcomes their county's Minister of Agriculture, and as usual, the man did not disappoint.

“Without cutting hair or legs, let me welcome our Minister of Agriculture, Phanice Khatundi. Doesn't he look like Fanta soda? Let's put our hands together and applaud him,” he said to the crowd who were roaring with laughter.

In another instance, the county administrator of Trans Nzoia he impressed Kenyans with his humorous use of vocabulary while praising the new Social Health Authority (SHA).

He said SHA is “so badass, so 'dodgy', and so beautiful, reflecting his unusual way of expressing himself.

Responding to the administrator's video, netizens suggested that the chief should be promoted or appointed as a SHA ambassador.
