In an exciting statement, Njeri's mother revealed that she used the money to make great progress in improving their living conditions.

The family, realizing their previous financial challenges, bought a piece of land using the donations they were given and started building a house.

“With the money I bought space and built a house in Makongeni, it is almost finished,” he wrote.

Mother Njeri expressed her gratitude to Kenyans for their hospitality, saying that it is a very big step in their lives.

Grandfather Owino he promises to help Njeri's family

When Njeri's video went viral, the Member of Parliament for Embakasi East, Babu Owino, was among those who were touched by his condition.

He expressed his desire to help the girlreferring to his difficult childhood, where he used to sell pearls to support his family.

“This girl is from the Island Primary School there Thika every evening go to sell boiled corn on the side of the road. It reminds me of when I used to sell trinkets after school throughout my primary and secondary school life,” Owino shared via X (formerly Twitter).

He praised Njeri's perseverance and assured him that he could overcome the obstacles in front of him, just like he did.
