Embu – Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has started to praise God after he was historically removed from power by the Members of Parliament.

In a short speech, he talked about his removal from power, expressing faith that God exists and that the Senate will not confirm the decision passed by 282 Members of Parliament to remove him from power.
“Your sermon has touched me a lot. We have faced many challenges in the country Kenyabut we must be hopeful. Humans can plan many things but there is God in heaven. As Christians, we trust in Him. Please continue to pray for us and our country.
Our court is very professional. I have no doubt that our honorable judges will respect the Constitution, the rule of law, and ensure that the wishes of the people remain high. Regardless of what happens, let's keep the peace as we move forward,” he said.
Lawmakers voted unanimously against the charges against the vice president, which included corruption, abuse of power, and threats against the president, among other charges.
He also emphasized that they were elected by the majority of citizens and cannot be removed from power by a small group of leaders.
