Tanzania: The father of a Form Two boy from Bugari Secondary School who went missing while on his way to school has opened up after his son was found safe in Salmin.
Joel Johanes went missing on Saturday, September 14, during a school visit to Mount Kwaraa with his classmates.
When was Joel Johanes found?
He was found on Wednesday, October 9, after being lost for 26 days in the forest.
His father, Johanes Mariki, shared his feelings.
“I am very happy after my child was found alive and safe. He was in the forest for 26 days, and we started to lose hope, but God fought for us. Today is not a day to talk much, but we fought hard to find our child,” said Mark.

Mariki glorified God by hearing their sincere prayers to be reunited with their son who had been lost at school.
The happy man thanked several people, including intercessors, who were with him in difficult times and expressed gratitude for their help.
