According to a report by Citizen Digital, a speeding motorcycle hit an oncoming truck, resulting in the instant death of the passenger and the motorcycle driver.
Francine Muchile, chairperson of Vihiga County Boda Boda Association, confirmed the fatal accident, saying that she received a report about the incident on Sunday afternoon.
Muchile revealed that when he arrived at the scene of the accident, he realized that three football players from the area had died from their injuries.
It is not clear what caused the fatal accident, while the chairman warned boda boda drivers to drive safely.
