A family is heartbroken after their son, Duncan Odhiambo, went missing from Komarock South Primary School on Saturday, September 28.
How did Odhiambo get lost?
Odhiambo, a Class 5 student, was reportedly sent by the teacher on duty to take a sick classmate home before he went missing.
Odhiambo's father told Citizen Digital that he dropped his son off at school for extra lessons that tragic day.
She said she felt worried when she returned home at 3pm that day and did not find her son.
She decided to call the teacher on duty, who told her that she had sent her son on an errand and would bring him home.

“But when I called again around midnight, he didn't pick up,” he narrated.
Odhiambo's father explained that he decided to report the matter at the Kayole Police Station, hoping that the police officers would help him find his missing son.
Mwalimu was followed and questioned about his whereabouts in Odhiambo but was later released.
Odhiambo's family, who are still grieving, are now asking for help from the public to help them find their missing son.
High School Student of Kiambu he disappears
In a separate incident, Wayne Ng'ang'a Waithaka, a 16-year-old student of Githiga High School in Kiambu County, mysteriously disappeared.
Waithaka's aunt, Dolly Murithi, told TUKO.co.ke that the boy did not come to school that day.
The young man was later seen at the ATM KCBwhere he withdrew the money deposited in his account as spending money.
It was believed that Waithaka may have deliberately avoided school, as he had told his friends about his desire to transfer from Githiga School.
Authorities and the family issued a public appeal for any information on his whereabouts.
