Chelsea pulled another 4-goal win in the European Conference League but how did the players perform?
Chelsea kicked off their Europa Conference League campaign in style, comfortably defeating Belgian side Gent 4-2 at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues took control early, with Renato Veiga’s header giving them the lead within 12 minutes.
Despite a brief fightback from Gent, who equalized momentarily, Chelsea’s attacking prowess shone through in the second half with goals from Pedro Neto, Christopher Nkunku, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Although Gent managed a late consolation goal, it was a dominant performance from Enzo Maresca’s side, who showcased their strength without key players like Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson.
