The bodies of the deceased, who left their homes to visit relatives, were found dumped in different ditches.
According to NTVthe local chief confirmed that the three were killed elsewhere and their bodies dumped there.
“That mother and children were not killed here; their bodies were just brought back here. She had gone to visit her sister when the tragic event happened,” said the local detective.
The photos shared showed the sadness of the residents as they tried to cope with the tragedy.
The Nyamira community is asking the government to intervene
A grief-stricken resident expressed his grief, lamenting the lack of action on the increase in brutal deaths in the area.
He asked the government to intervene, saying that the local authorities have not taken enough measures.
“Five people have died, not from disease but from murder. We are asking for the government's help. People are being killed without mercy, and although our local leaders know, they have never taken adequate measures,” he said.
The authorities have promised to investigate the incidents in detail and hold those responsible accountable.
