In his affidavit attached to the application, Gachagua said that the element in the argument stating that he has assets worth KSh 5.2 million, which cannot be calculated, was based on feelings and lies to humiliate his profile in front of Kenyans and his wives. family.

The vice president also criticized the process of his removal.

The notice of the motion was presented on Tuesday afternoon, October 1, by Kibwezi Member of Parliament Mwengi Mutuse, who was elected on the Chap Chap Development Party ticket.

The case will be sent to the Senate, whose speaker will convene a seven-day meeting to discuss the charges against Gachagua.
