Kenyan Newspapers, October 3: MPs Supporting Gachagua's Repeal Receive Millions

On Thursday, local newspapers continued to cover the dismissal of the Deputy President Rigathi Gachaguawhose fate lies with members of parliament in the National Assembly and the Senate.

The papers featured options which the deputy president is considering considering his impeachment case, as well as the benefits that will be given to the members of parliament who were involved in the impeachment.

1. The Star

The newspaper The Star reported on the options that the managers of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have weighed as the final risks will be dismissed from office.

According to the newspaper, Gachagua's inner circles are considering resigning as it seems there is little chance for him to survive removal from power.

Resignation may help the vice president.

If he is impeached, he will not be allowed to hold public office, whether elected or appointed.

The Star newspaper reported that apart from resigning, Gachagua may be thinking of leaving the country for a while until his troubles are resolved.
