Gachagua Praises Ndindi Nyoro, Afichua Hiding At His Home To Avoid Arrest

The notice of dismissal of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was presented to the National Assembly on Tuesday, October 1.

A total of 291 MPs signed a motion in support of his dismissal, including the Member of Parliament for the Mathira constituency, Gachagua's home area.

What did Gachagua say about Ndindi Nyoro?

Before the submission of the motion, Gachagua praised Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro, revealing relationship their unknown.

He described Nyoro as a disciplined and capable leader who stayed on top of the debate.

“He is one of our leaders who I advised and I will continue to advise him, he is a very aggressive young man, that is why you have not heard him throwing insults, he is very respected and carries himself as a leader because he knows what he is doing. He continues. He has a bright future and is a very good friend of mine,” said Gachagua.

Gachagua also revealed that Nyoro kept him during the administration of the former president Uhuru Kenyatta when you were following him.

“Even when I was arrested every Friday during the previous administration, I went to hide at his house and his wife Sophia prepared food for me,” he revealed.

The member of parliament has not discussed his decision not to support the removal of the deputy president.

However, just a few months ago, Nyoro was seen as the leader of the region Mount Kenyawith many members of parliament preferring him instead of Gachagua.

He delivered an emotional message to the residents of Mlimi Kenya asking them to remain united even if he is expelled from office.
