What did Mbadi say about Ruto?

Mbadi confirmed his support for President Ruto in the 2027 general election, as long as Raila Odinga does not run for the presidency.

“If Raila will not participate in the vote, I will vote for William Ruto,” Mbadi said.

According to a Citizen Digital report, Mbadi described the president as a good person who is ready to serve every community in the country.

Speaking in the constituency of Nyatike county MigoriMbadi reminded the residents of the lake region that voters from the Rift Valley supported Raila in the 2007 general election.

Mbadi urged the people of Nyanza to reconsider building political alliances with other communities. This unified push is a step forward for stronger connections across the country.

The Cabinet Secretary said they are working to ensure that Raila cooperates closely with the country's president.

Mbadi put up a big poster to welcome Ruto Homa Bay

Earlier, Mbadi stopped by to ensure a memorable event during Ruto's four-day visit to the lake region.

Mbadi had put up big posters welcoming the head of state on the roads leading in Fever Bay CBD.

The poster showed Mbadi shaking hands with Ruto during the swearing-in ceremony with words of welcome in the Jaluo dialect.

The head of state awarded the county two lucrative positions in his administration, Mbadi in the treasury and Raymond Omollo serving as secretary general of the Ministry of Interior.
