Oscar Sudi laughs at Gachagua who warned Rift Valley MPs against impeaching him

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has vowed not to resign even if the Supreme Court refused to issue a temporary order to prevent MPs from presenting a motion to impeach him.

Speaking to Kalenjin journalists on Monday, September 30, Gachagua expressed his frustration, accusing many Kenyan Kwanza MPs from the Rift Valley of leading the movement for his impeachment.

In addition, he has challenged the MPs to continue with their plans to fire them while insisting that Mt Kenya MPs are ready to support him.

“If anyone thinks they can threaten me into resigning, they should forget it. The people of the mountain Kenya they are just waiting to see me removed,” Gachagua said.

How did Sudi respond to Gachagua's threats?

Responding, Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi he reminded Gachagua that he only had a few days left in office.

Sudi warned Gachagua to encourage unity in the Mt Kenya region, pointing out that his intention is selfless.

“After all is said and done, there are only seven days left. There is no greater cause than a united Kenya. Stop tribalism and don't try to separate Agikuyus from other Kenyans for your own interests,” he said.

Comments on Sudi's response to the plan to sue Gachagua

Some Kenyans have responded to this schedule, while others want the entire government to be held accountable.

Simon Clerk replied:

“We are not complaining. We are not isolated. Gachagua is just a voice that we did not have after silencing Uhuru.”

Gerald Kipkoech said:

“Please Sudi, we want peace in Kenya. Now you want to cause fraud and hateful violence because you have been corrupt all along and found by Kenyans. The impeachment of Gachagua is a story to hide all the diseases you got in the government. Mr. Ruto He will be accused by the people's authority. Let God's will be done.

Hon Alfred Rotich gave his opinion:

“Why exclude Ruto? He is the main problem of this country. Even Gachagua, Ruto has been selling almost everything in our country to foreigners.”

Albert Kibet Bitok observed:

“If the DP has to go home then the whole government should be dissolved and we should start over.”

Jake Wamae saw:

“To exclude the Kikuyus you said? As far as I am concerned we have never sold our civilization as a society to that extent. Only time will tell. Even after Uhuru warned us, it is the same time that has come to reveal the truth of his words.”

Who will file a motion to impeach Gachagua?

The motion to fire Gachagua will be made by the Deputy Majority Leader in the National Assembly Owen Baya on Tuesday afternoon, October 1.

Kibwezi Member of Parliament West Mwengi Mutuse will support the motion, then Speaker Moses Wetang'ula will give instructions on when the debate on the motion will continue.

The 40-page motion was sent to the clerk's office on Monday, September 30.
