Nairobi – War of words between the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and supporters of President William Ruto show the bad relationship between the two leaders.
MP Oscar Sudi is among the politicians in Ruto's camp who do not leave Gachagua any chance.
What Sudi said to Gachagua
In his latest attack, Sudi accused Gachagua of being behind plans to remove the administration Ruto. In an interesting statement on social media, the MP claimed that Gachagua sought to use the Gen Z protests three months ago to topple Ruto.
He suggested that the vice president should be brought to court for such actions as seeking to remove the president is a crime.
“My boss, it is no longer a secret that you are the architect of the failed plan to remove our President. Young people were shot in the streets, and those who were imprisoned are the result of the money you poured into organizing the protest, but now you claim to be fighting for them! Apart from the respect we have for your office, you deserve to be in prison ,” said Sudi.
The MP warned Gachagua that they will not just sit back and let him plan chaos to destroy the current administration.
“Just know we are alert and we know enough not to work with a whistleblower but a chief executive of chaos. We are very vigilant. We know what you are planning for this words are coming but we are on the radar. Don't hide your bad intentions by trying to push the people of Mount Kenya in a tribal trap,” he said.
Sudi's post was a response to Gachagua's new complaint that government agencies are being used to harass his employees and partners.
This came after the Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI) linked them to the protests that rocked the nation.
In addition, the member of parliament has been talking loudly about firing Gachagua; he is among those who call for that.
