Nakuru – A student is among those who lost their lives following a fire tragedy in a high school several weeks after the Endarasha Hillside Academy tragedy.
The devastating accident occurred at Sacred Heart Boys Rongai Nakuru, killing at least two people.
Who is the Nakuru county police commander?
The student who died following the fire was in Form 4 and expected to take his Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2024 examination.
A student was also killed in the fire that broke out in the school on Friday night, September 20.
The report of the death of the two was given by Nakuru County Police Commander Samuel Ndanyi.
The report destroyed one of the school's dormitories and caused the death of the two people.

More than 150 students were in the dormitory when it caught fire, with the average age of the victims nine years old, the BBC reported.
In the immediate results, 17 students were confirmed dead, with the Ministry of Education expressing fear that the death toll may rise.
About 40 students are missing after the Endarasha fire
Some of the children were believed to have escaped and hid in the local community, while others were picked up by their parents without the school's knowledge.
Finally, more than 40 students were unaccounted for, but the school had no answers.
As of Wednesday, September 11, the official number of children burned to death reached 21, AP reports.
