Shaniqwa ignored what behaviors were evident with her former lover

Dr. Ofweneke asked Shaniqwa some of the questions he asked himself after the sad incident. The topic was heavy for the father of one, and he took a deep breath before answering.

“One thing I can say is that I didn't deserve it, everyone has their mistakes, I'm not an angel, but I didn't deserve it. My son didn't deserve it”

Shaniqwa noted that he does not like to talk about the issue during the interview while shedding tears.

“I went through hell. I almost took my life. I was seeing my walls crumbling.”

However, the former journalist admitted that he ignored the red flags.

“He received those calls in the middle of the night after looking for a job for him. I lost my job on KTNand he was the richest.”

“I would fall asleep, wake up, and find him chatting on his phone.”

Shaniqwa also remembered when her ex-boyfriend left their home on their son's birthday after receiving a phone call.

“On our son's birthday in 2020, he was called to Ruiru, and he wanted to go. I wondered why he chose that day.

“I told him not to go but in the end I let him because he seemed restless.”
