The former General Secretary of the embattled United Democratic Alliance (UDA) opened up about the ordeal the pair went through after they were kidnapped at gunpoint.
In a controversial post she posted on her social media on Tuesday, September 24, Malala revealed that armed men took her 19-year-old son and sister-in-law by force at night.
He claimed that the two were tortured for many hours while the kidnappers demanded information about his whereabouts.
“My 19-year-old son and brother-in-law were kidnapped at gunpoint. They were tortured for six hours to reveal where I am or my wife and show them the way to my residence in Kitengela,” Malala wrote. .

He further explained that after the kidnappers failed to find him or his wife, they left the two on the side of the road Thika.
