- Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo has said that there is no wrongdoing that Vice President Rigathi Gachagua has done that deserves to remove him from power through a vote of no confidence in him
- According to Maanzo, President William Ruto is the one who has repeatedly violated the constitution
- Maanzo said that if the motion to remove Gachagua from power is presented, they will present another motion to remove Ruto
Nairobi – Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo has claimed that the motion to remove President William Ruto from power will be presented if his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua, is removed from office.
Why William Ruto should an argument be made to remove him from power?
Speaking on Citizen TV on Monday, September 23, the Wiper senator claimed that Ruto and Gachagua were elected together, and if the motion to remove the Deputy President succeeds, they will present another one to remove the president.
“If there is an argument to remove the Deputy President, then we will have another argument to remove the President. They were elected on one ticket,” The beginning said.

According to Maanzo, the Deputy President is being unfairly attacked by MPs of the coalition Kenya First.
The senator said Gachagua has not done anything wrong that deserves to remove him from power.
The Wiper senator claimed that it is Ruto who has broken the 2010 Constitution the most and he deserves to be removed, not Gachagua.
“If there is anyone who has violated the constitution more often, it is the president, not his deputy… we will tie them together and run arguments to remove them from power together in the National Assembly and the Senate. I challenge them to bring that argument!” he added.
Is William Ruto linked to the plan to remove Gachagua from office?
At the same time, MP for Nyaribari Chache Zaheer Jhanda, insisted that Ruto is not involved in the plot to remove Gachagua.
He said that talks about the possibility of removing Gachagua are based on leaders from the area Mount Kenya who have their reasons for wanting to do so.
Jhanda emphasized that the president has never discussed the issue and prefers not to be involved.
In addition, he advised Gachagua to resign before facing a vote of no confidence in him.
The statement was made when there was growing tension within the party UDA and conflicting views on the political future of Ruto and Gachagua.
