- Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is facing pressure to be removed from power as more leaders join the call for his dismissal
- Kapseret Member of Parliament, Oscar Sudi, has insisted that Gachagua, who is in a precarious situation, will be dismissed within two weeks.
- Some Kenyans have warned the leaders, while others have suggested that the entire government will be dissolved
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is facing threats of dismissal from a certain group of Kenya First leaders.
This comes amid growing tension between him and the President William Rutoespecially after Gachagua's recent remarks about governance.
Member of Parliament for Kapseret, Oscar Sudihas joined those who want Gachagua to be removed, suggesting that the deputy president will be fired within two weeks, despite the lack of an official process for that action.
“Just two weeks,” he said and repeated the statement.
Kenyans commenting on Sudi's allegations:
Muturi Prince claimed:
“Truthful man is not going anywhere, you love lies that's why you don't want Riggy G. God has poured a special love into the hearts of many Kenyans for DP.”
General Donald Tumo advised:
“Riggy G isn't going anywhere. Practice that sound for the next three years, Mr. Engineer.”
Bernaculate Ogonya said:
“If Riggy G leaves then I swear the whole government will be dissolved, we are going to the elections. I have already tweeted that the quarrel between Ruto and Riggy G will be worse than that between Uhuru and Ruto.”
Kericho Icon added:
“Power is short-term. Firing Rigathi Gachagua can have serious consequences, and is often not conducive to the long-term interests of stability and unity. Political issues should be addressed through dialogue and consensus building instead of divisive measures such as firing him. Such decisions can undermine not only the government but also public confidence in democratic processes.”

Caroh Maina said:
“Hot air.”
Haggai Kimonge asked:
“Aim to provide services. Avoid the circus of firing him. No one fired Ruto when they disagreed with his boss at the time, Uhuru Kenyatta. They did not even shake hands, but Uhuru let him finish his term and today he is the Head of State. Focus your energy on the important things, what if the plan turns around and hits a cliff?”
Eli Sha said:
“The tables will turn, Oscar. We'll remind you of this when your strength is gone.”
