“The news that my son fell ill and was admitted to the hospital while waiting in line to join the college was shocking. I still haven't understood what happened. He was a young man with goals and discipline. The family expected to see him studying at Kirinyaga University, finishing his studies and getting a job.

“For luck bad, we sent him away with great joy, but now he will come home in a coffin. We relied on him to change our lives, but now all that is left is pain and sorrow,” she said with tears.

The Kipyegon family needs KSh 400,000 in support

Korir painfully revealed that the family depended on donations to enable their teenage boy to go to college staple.

Now they need that financial help to collect money to cover the hospital bills, which were collected during his treatment in the hospital, including being admitted in the intensive care unit (ICU) for several days.

“On our own, we would not have been able to collect the money to send him to university. But despite having great hope for his future, death has claimed him, and we leave everything to God. We are asking for help from philanthropists to help us pay the hospital bill which amounts to KSh 400,000 and the funeral expenses ,” the mother of Bomet said with sorrow.
