Ali Kiba Commissions His Radio Station Crown FM To Play Bongo Songs Only For The Whole Week

This happens when Tanzanians celebrate the Week of Bongo Flavour, a way to recognize the special music industry.

Radio presenter of TanzaniaMwijaku, revealed the order during his conversation with a Kenyan lobbyist, Casypool, who had gone to Tanzania.

Why will Ali Kiba's broadcasting station only play Bongo songs?

In a video previously shared by Mwijaku, the loud radio host welcomed Casypool Tanzania and told him the news.

He said Kiba had ordered his staff to play only Bongo music during that week.

“The time has come when we celebrate Bongo Flavor Week in Tanzania. King Kiba has given an order to Crown Media to play only Bongo songs for the whole week. We have carried out his order,” said Mwijaku.

In another video, Mwijaku explained that Kiba took the decision to promote and elevate Bongo music.

He said:

“One of the new developments is that Ali Kiba, after launching his news station, ordered that his station (Crown FM and TV) play only Bongo songs for the whole week. Those are some of the ideas that elevate our music.”

When was Crown Media launched?

As we previously reported, Kiba celebrated two decades in the music industry by officially launching Crown Media.

Crown Media was launched on Saturday, March 9, at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Dar es Salaam.

The artist's journey from a small radio given to him by his father to become the owner of a news station showed the power of the medium of broadcasting.

Distinguished guests, including former president Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete and Minister of Information Nape Moses Nnauye, attended the star-studded launch event.

They recognized the enduring influence of the Tanzanian artist and commended him for his dedication to the Tanzanian music industry.
