Father Afraid of Missing Daughter Studying at MKU, Arrived in Nairobi From Migori: “Customer Call”

• Lilian Gati Robi left her home in Migori county on Tuesday, September 10, heading to Mount Kenya University (MKU).
• The third year nursing student was last seen at the National Archives after arriving in Nairobi
• Michael Robi, the girl's distraught father, was told his daughter had removed her SIM card from her phone

Migori – The family is worried about the condition of their daughter, who has not contacted them for many days.

Michael Robi said the last time he spoke to his daughter Lilian Gati Robi was when he left home on Tuesday, September 10.

He was returning to Mount Kenya University (MKU), Thikawhere he is a third year student studying nursing.

Robi recounted the last moments with her 20-year-old daughter before she mysteriously disappeared.

“He left with the bus Ena Coach. He was going to Nairobi and then took another car to Thika when he was going back to school. When I called around 7pm, the phone was unavailable. When I followed up, I was told that Thika did not arrive,” he told KBC Channel 1.

What things did Robi's daughter leave behind?

Robi was told that his daughter had a problem when they arrived in Suswa, where they had stopped for a break.

He was told he left his seat and went to another, where he engaged in conversation and light moments.

“He was the first one to get off when they got to their storage office, he left his shoes in the car and took his bag and a box of shopping items. I tried to track his phone, and when he got to the National Park, I was told he had removed beads from his hair, he took out his SIM card on his phone,” he said.

The family has already reported the incident to the police and asked Kenyans to help find their daughter.

A girl from Vihiga disappears

In another story, Laura Cathy Otieno, a former student of Mudavadi Girls High School, disappeared after leaving school.

Laura's mother told TUKO.co.ke that the young man was last seen in Majengo town riding a matatu towards Poisonousbut he did not come home.

He appealed to Kenyans to help him find his daughter and bring her home safely.
