Speaking during the 47th graduation ceremony at the Londiani Forestry College on Friday, September 13, Duale said the actions of the leaders undermined the presidency.

The minister expressed disappointment with leaders who have started criticizing the president despite being part of the government.

“Regardless of the position you have in the government, a respectable leader, a God-fearing leader must respect those in authority, especially the presidency which is an example of national unity, you see a politician stand up and insult the president, I see others. to insult the president,” Duale said.

The former Minister of Defense pointed out that although some Kenyan leaders are attacking Ruto, they are forgetting that they were all part of the campaign that brought him to power.

He emphasized that their responsibilities are joint, and it is not fair to put all the burden on the president.

“If you want to be respected by those above you, you must also show respect. Therefore, I ask the leaders of Kenya First, we were all with the president; we campaigned with him. We collectively committed to the president's announcement. Today you cannot hold a position in the government and at the same time complain and say that only the president should fulfill it.

Duale suggested that solving Kenya's challenges is a joint effort that requires cooperation from the ruling party and the opposition.
