Residents of the county Kericho they are still shocked by the death of Bernard Mutai, former MCA of Kipchimchim Ward, Ainamoi constituency.
Mutai was MCA from 2013-2017, he was re-elected and served until 2022.
When did Mutai die?
The former member of the County Assembly was pronounced dead on Thursday, September 12.
According to a statement issued by Taiwet regional assistant chief Philomen Koskei, Mutai's lifeless body was found in his room.
However, police officers noted that the investigation is already underway to determine the cause of the incident.
The news of his death has left his family in deep mourning. Locals, on the other hand, thronged his house when they heard the news of his death.
