Ruto is expected to sign a contract that will enable more than 250,000 Kenyans to find employment in the European country.

White House Spokesman Hussein Mohamed revealed that Ruto will sign the Agreement between Kenya and Germany on 'Comprehensive Cooperation on Immigration and Migration.

“The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation regarding labor mobility, apprenticeships, student training, employment, and the welfare of workers, as well as the return and repatriation of citizens,” said Mohamed.

What Kenyans said about Ruto's visit to Germany

This caught the attention of many Kenyans, who shared different opinions about the planned trip in September 2024.

Others criticized the head of state, questioning why he could not create jobs at home.
