The deputy president was saddened by the eviction of the businessmen who were caught up in the violence while the police intervened to stop them as they protested the implementation of their migration following the notice given to them.

Gachagua complained about the county's operational system.

He said it would be wise if the governor would involve the businessmen before implementing the action to evict them as stipulated in the notice given to them.

Appearing to have a conciliatory voice, the usually angry Gachagua reminded Sakaja – whom he called “my little brother” – that the people whose relocation he was carrying out regardless voted for him in the 2022 elections.

In a quick response, Sakaja told Gachagua that he should have addressed his concerns over the phone.
