Is a man linked to the murder of the Bomet twins?

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) arrested the mother of five after the bodies of her daughters were exhumed.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the woman, who was living with a man, was missing for two weeks before neighbors discovered the deep grave in a tea plantation near the house.

According to neighbors, the missing man was living with the woman, but he is not the biological father of the five children.

Confirming the incident, the head of the area Lenny Kirui said a manhunt has been launched for the person suspected of being responsible for the twin murders.

The woman is being detained at the Sotik Police Station while the bodies are being taken to the Kapkatet Hospital mortuary pending an autopsy.
