The family of Valerie Sila, aka Vale, who returned Kenya from Lebanon after TUKO.co.ke ran his story, is concerned that he may have returned with mental health challenges.
How did Vale survive after escaping from the employer?
Vale left Kenya for Lebanon after a failed marriage to earn money and raise her child.
Sadly, when she got there, the mother of one bounced from one employer to another and eventually ended up living alone and allegedly abusing substances.
In a heartbreaking video from the past, Vale is seen saying that she was in love and had reunited with her boyfriend who had beaten her. It was later revealed that the man was standing there with a gun pointed at his head.
“Later we got help, and the agent brought him home. At first, we were happy that he was back home, to the woman sand begin to show signs of mental illness. He laughs alone while at other times he cries without any provocation. Sometimes he speaks in Arabic and refuses to eat,” concerned aunt said.
“He doesn't talk, he just cries. When I leave to go to work, I find him in the same place I left him. When he sees me, he hides his face. I want him to be sent to rehab so that we know his problem. I'm afraid to go to work because I don't know what he will do in that house,” he added.
