Pain – A cloud of sadness has settled over Hillside Endarasha School in Kieni West after a terrible fire claimed the lives of about 16 students.
The terrible fire that broke out in one of the dormitories, caught the students in their sleep and left an incomparable huge sigh.
Confirming the tragedy, the Spokesperson of the National Police Service, Dr. Resilia Onyango, said that the fire that broke out around midnight burnt the 16 children beyond recognition.
“We lost 16 students who were burned beyond recognition and another one died while being taken to the hospital,” The spokesman said.
