Naima Shah, who is Tanzanian, spoke several years after Diamond's song emerged, revealing that she was married when she was featured in the hit.
The woman said that she had just given birth when she appeared in the music video.
“I was married at that time and I had just given birth to a child. I told him I will do it for you, my son. I went. We made a video then and the video went Alhamdulillahi.” he said.
She revealed that her husband was not happy after watching the video, saying he was against it.
The woman's husband informed her father and pointed out that it is against their faith to participate as a vixen in secular music videos.
He also claimed that Diamond did not pay him.
“My husband has not allowed me, the family. The first time he found out. He came to know when the video came out, don't you know our morals. It was a disaster. He beat me and my father also beat me. I was about 17 or 18 years old. I left school in the second form,” the vixen said.
