Kenyan Newspapers, September 4: Daughter Who Went To School To Get KCSE Certificate Killed

Elsewhere, one family there Trans Nzoia is seeking justice after his relative was allegedly killed.

1. Nation Today

Kiswahili newspaper highlighted the plight of a family from Milimani-Kolongololo, Kwanza constituency in Trans Nzoia county; their daughter was killed.

Identified as Eunice Akinyi, the deceased had left home for her secondary school to collect her certificate when she went missing.

He was a former student at Kesse High School.

The 18-year-old was supposed to report to college late last month when he disappeared from home.

His body would be found in a cornfield near his parent's house.

Chief Alex Wakabete said the security forces are looking for those involved in the killing.

The body was found without clothes, with visible marks on the neck, while the hands and feet were tied.

Akinyi's body was taken to the city mortuary Kitale while the detectives began the investigation and search for the suspects.
