- The Nigerian international is about to leave Napoli as the Turkish giants offer him a one-year loan deal
- Napoli have reportedly agreed with the attackers, and now it is up to the striker to make a decision
Turkish club Galatasaray have agreed in principle with Napoli on a loan deal for Victor Osimhen this summer.
The Turkish giants are offering a one-year loan deal to cover his wages, with reports that Napoli have agreed to those terms.
Members of the club will meet with the international player Nigeria in Naples on Monday evening for the last light of the exodus.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says Galatasaray also agreed to pay 10 million euros in wages for the player until the end of the season.
A loan deal has been agreed by the Italian club, but does not include an option to buy/commitment clause.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Napoli have offered everything on a dry loan – with no option to buy – as long as Galatasaray pay his full salary.
Another way is for Galatasaray to pay the loan fee but the salaries should be shared between them.
Representatives from the Turkish club are flying to Naples for advanced talks and to complete the paperwork.
The summer transfer window in Turkey closes on September 13, giving Galatasaray plenty of time to complete the deal.
Should the transfer go through, Osimhen will join a star-studded squad alongside Mauro Icardi and former team-mate Dries Mertens.

The Nottingham Forest star shared a photo of Osimhen holding the CAF Player of the Year Award, with the caption: “A symbol of hope, Honor,” tagging Osimhen in the post.
The Napoli star responded with a message: “Wow!!! See you soon my brother.”
Awoniyi and Osimhen, who both enjoyed great success at youth level, won the FIFA U-17 World Cup with Nigeria in 2013 and 2015, respectively.
