How William Ruto traveled to the United States
Others asked if the cost of the Kenya Airways flight was cheaper this time compared to when Ruto traveled to United States using a private jet.
@nicsaburi claimed:
“Friends didn't come or Kenya Airways was cheaper.”
@X6Atlantis claimed:
“Since mucomplain KQ reduced the main fare.”
In May 2024, Ruto defended the cost of a private jet he used in the US after the accusations.
Responding to the criticism, the president said it would have been more expensive if he had used Kenya Airways.
However, the president's remarks drew ire from Kenyans, who questioned the veracity of Ruto's comments.
