Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa, a Kenya Kwanza member of parliament, has recently come to the defense of the veteran politician.

In a statement distributed on the X network, formerly Twitter, Barasa, who identifies himself as the leader of Gen Z, criticized the youth of Kenya for their bad opinion about Raila's bid to run for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship.

The outspoken member of parliament reprimanded the young people who have defamed him Raila for betraying their position during protests against the government, asking them to put aside their differences and support his continental demands.

He expressed the opinion that it is their patriotic duty to support the ambition of the former prime minister despite it not being their choice.

“To Gen Z and all Kenyans who wish for Tinga @RailaOdinga luck bad, shame on you! Be patriotic guys! A lot of noise on social networks, there is nothing you say ata,” Barasa said.
