Narok, Kenya – In a tragic incident, a police officer and his young son died following a road accident on the Narok – Maai Mahiu Road.
The accident happened early this morning and involved Officer Nancy Samuel Nyamumbo and her son, Liam Waweru.
Where was Officer Nyamumbo placed?
Cops Kenya reports that the two survived and were rushed to a hospital in the city Nairobi for emergency treatment.
Officer Nyamumbo, who served at the Murang'a Police Station, and his son, Liam, were reportedly on their way when the tragedy occurred.
Despite the efforts of medical experts, both mother and son died tragically while undergoing treatment.
The news of their passing has caused consternation at the Murang'a Police Station and the law enforcement community.

The police force and citizens have expressed their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased officer.

NTSA what did it say about road accidents
Following the increase in road accidents, the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) appealed to drivers.
The authority listed several things that drivers and other road users should do to help reduce accidents.
