However, on Tuesday, March 25, Kihika entered social networks to share updates on Nakuru development projects.

Appearing to respond to concerns of his absence, Kihika said that the Nakuru County government is left to volunteer to provide sustainable solutions to strengthen environmental protection and economic resilience.
He focused on the efforts of the county government, noting that over the past week, five reform projects were handed over to the FLLOCA program to benefit the residents.
The projects include the Ametha Water Project in Solai ward, Rongai sub -county; Water Water Project in Gilgil County; GWA Kirani Water Project in Visoi Ward, Rongai Sub -County; The Muro River Park in the Elburgon ward, Molo Small County; and the storage of the Davishon Dam in the Central Ward, Njoro County.
“We are left to volunteer to provide sustainable solutions that raise society. Through these projects, we improve access to clean water, strengthen food production, and promote environmental conservation for better future,” His statement was partially studied.
This comes a few days after some Nakuru residents submitted a request to the county parliament, demanding details of his long -term office.
The request, supported by 2,000 signatures, called for the governor to appear before the parliament to explain who is leading the county at the moment.

In a letter copied to the President William RutoKimori Evans, the founder of the Kimori Foundation, complained that Kihika had been invisible to the public for several months.
He also claimed that Kihika closed the War Memorial Hospital and left the patients who were relying on stress.
He also claimed that the prolonged stay in the United States would undermine the beliefs appointed by the Nakuru residents when they elected him during the 2022 general election.
Activist Kimori claimed that Kenyan law allows for a maternity leave of up to 90 days, questioning how Nakuru County is ruled when Kihika has been absent for a long time.
Kimori also claimed that while the governor continued to receive advanced treatment in the United States, Nakuru residents are facing a deterioration in health care due to the closure of War Memorial Hospital.
