There has not been any substantial information concerning the allegations so far and Hussein Mohammed has promised that investigations are still being done.

Hussein Mohammed explained that they had checked the backend system of Tikiti, the company responsible for ticketing and had not found any unusual activity.

“We need to substantiate these allegations, it’s important that you don’t just go with whatever is on social media but we need to investigate those allegations,” Hussein Mohammed said in a press conference on Tuesday.

“Tikiti is doing a review, the guys who were doing the ticketing process, and they will give us a report if there’s any suspected case of hoarding and who is responsible for it.”

He called upon the people who spread the information to come out with substantial evidence to help in the investigation.

Hussein Mohammed added that all they have right now is the allegations but there is no real evidence, making it difficult for the federation to proceed and act against the people alleged to have engaged in the heinous act.

“We don’t have that kind of evidence right now where we sit but we are looking forward to anyone who has concrete evidence to show it.

“Allegations are one thing, reality is another so if there are any specific instances where someone was trying to ticket scalping then we can investigate it. Otherwise, it’s purely allegations but we shall look into it.”
