England coach Thomas Tuchel has indicated that he will not rest his stars for the home clash against minnows Latvia, risking the wrath of Premier League bosses.
England manager Thomas Tuchel risks getting on the wrong side of his Arsenal counterpart Mikel Arteta and other Premier League bosses so early in his reign after saying that he will not rest some players for his team’s match against Latvia on Monday.
Tuchel intends to field a strong squad for the World Cup qualifier at Wembley as his team look to make it back-to-back wins after beating Albania 2-0 last Friday.
The German coach feels he has to do the best for his team even if they are playing minnows like Latvia and does not see the need to rest star players to help Premier League clubs when the said sides do not do the same for him.
These jets illustrate the luxurious lifestyle that comes with being a top-tier football player and each has unique features and capabilities.
Among those set to play is Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice whose manager Mikel Arteta is hoping that he can get some rest ahead of the final weeks of the season as they chase for both Premier League and Champions League glory.

“Given the fact Declan Rice played in the second leg with Arsenal after a 7-1 first-leg lead, I didn’t have the feeling they think so much about us. So I don’t think we have to break our heads about this,” Tuchel told the media as per The Sun.
“I take care of the players. We take care about the schedule. But it would be the wrong signal to tell players now ‘you have tough (club) matches coming up, so I rest you now’.
“We have a qualifier to play, we do what’s good for us. We are in contact with the clubs, we are in high-level monitoring where the fitness statuses are known and we won’t take any unprofessional risks.”

Tuchel will be without midfielder Anthony Gordon for Monday’s match after he limped off following Friday’s win.
Other than that, the ex-Chelsea and Bayern Munich coach will have a strong squad to select from.
