“What happened to Peter Salasya at Nyayo Stadium today is sad. Lack of political patience undermines the foundation of democracy, which depends on the ability to share different views,” Said Mudavadi.

Mudavadi urged Kenyans to respect each other and to avoid divisions.

“We will not always agree, and that is right. But respect, dialogue and solidarity must remain the non -discussion. he added.

The minister also warned that if the conduct of such attacks continued, then Kenya threatened to break all the foundations that have been building for a long time.

“The divided house cannot stand. Let us choose discretion instead of chaos, and maturity instead of noise. The future of Kenya depends on this,” He said.

Mumias East MP Peter Salasya met with a group of angry people, who vigorously released him from the stadium, an incident that has sparked a heated debate among Kenyans.

Some of his attackers were caught screaming saying “Respect Raila” and “Honor President”, indicating that the attack was related to politics.
