In a video shared on Friday, March 21, 2025, Murithi expressed hope and a strong motive, explaining that he had looked at the latest list of government appointments and found that the position of the Ghana embassy had not yet been filled.

Murithi publicly announced his intention to seek the position for the first time on January 10, 2025, after former ICT minister Margaret Ndung'uu reject the embassy.

He hoped that his credentials would be considered, but several months later, he had not received a response from the government.

Without disappointment, the former political author took the initiative to remind President Ruto about his request through social networks, this time using the music tactic.

“We have seen yesterday that you have appointed people to various positions. And I, Kennedy Murithi, are still waiting. I have gone through the list and discovered that you have not yet appointed Ghana's ambassador, which means that you are still thinking of me,” He said in the video.

The reporter emphasized that Kenyan youth are ready to serve the people, citing the selection of many young people that Ruto has made in his government.

“Mr. President, I make this short video not because of the pressure, but it is to remind you of my reputation, which I mentioned earlier through the video, and repeated my request to serve as the Kenyan Ambassador to Ghana. I am ready, and we young Kenyans are ready. He explained.
