Was Martha Ahumuza Murari being poisoned?
Martha Ahumuza Murari, 23, died after a suspected poisoning incident at Kampala nightclub, Mezo Noir.
According to police, two suspects, a man and his brother were arrested while an investigation into Martha's death continued.
The Daily Monitor reported that the deceased met his friend, Mugabo Edward, who works as Kedia at the bar, and they drank drinks until 3:30 am.
They moved to the manager's office that does not have CCTV Camera. It is alleged that the victim fell in the office, and Mugabo phoned his brother Kalenzi Joseph.
The woman was rushed to hospital and had a life support, but later died on Wednesday, April 19.
The brothers were arrested and detained at Kira Road police station while investigations were underway.
On Friday, March 21, the management of Mezo Noir announced the closure of the nightclub, by referring to unexpected circumstances.
