In a statement written on Thursday, March 20, Head of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei announced that the President William Ruto He appointed Nakhumicha as Kenya's permanent representative at UN-Habitat in Nairobi.
“In accordance with section 132 (2) (e) of the Constitution, Mr. President has appointed the following people to serve as ambassadors, ambassadors and deputy chiefs of Kenyan foreign embassies abroad,” The statement was partially read.

Nakhumicha's new appointment comes just days after he opened about his life following his sudden dismissal.
