President William Ruto has again reshuffled his government by nominating new Principal Secretaries (PSs).
In a gazette notice, dated March 20, 2025, the president has nominated new PSs whose names have been sent to the National Assembly for approval.
“His Excellency the president has today instituted changes to the organization of government. The Presidential Action, serialized as Executive Order No. 1 of 2025, causes nominations to and reassignments of state departments, as well as postings to the nation’s foreign service.
“The changes are driven by the need to harness the opportunities within emerging sectors of the economy, as well as to address challenges affecting Kenya’s social fabric. Collectively, the changes seek to further accelerate the implementation of the Administration’s seminal socio-economic blueprint, the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA),” the notice read.
