He explained that he believed that the decision was not only reasonable, but also beneficial to his followers and the nation as a whole.
“We fully understand the decision we have made, and we are clear about the political path we are taking,” Raila confirmed.
However, the former Prime Minister rejected the call of the former Deputy President, Rigathi Gachaguaof joining the opposition, referring to him as a deceitful and unreliable man.
Raila questioned the sudden change of Gachagua's position, reminding his supporters that the same invited people had now attacked him and his political allies.
“There are those (Gachagua) who now tell us to join them, claiming their side is better. But these are the ones who, not long ago, called us enemies. Raila said.
He denied any possibility of cooperating with Gachagua, describing him as a hypocrite who had ever trapped political traps that had ultimately returned to himself.
“He was proud to have trapped. Raila said.
He urged his supporters to remain strong and united, emphasizing that he has a clear vision about their political future.
Raila prepares a futar for Muslim leaders
Raila made the remarks as he hosted by Muslim leaders at a futuristic event at a hotel in the Upper Hill area, Nairobi.
The event, held in honor of the holy month of Ramadan, brought together prominent political and religious leaders.

Gachagua publicly asked Raila Odinga to join his political camp as part of a strategy to oppose him Ruto In the 2027 general election.
